At The Side Hustle University, I am a big believer in working for yourself. There is no need to break your back working for a company that will replace you 2 minutes after you drop dead and treat you like garbage or even worse. We’ve all been grinding this out for years just to get nowhere.
Nowadays, it isn’t about being educated and having a good-paying job anymore. In this day and age, things are different. I belong to a generation of society who was told to go to school, get good grades, and you will get a good job. You will make boatloads of money, you will be able to buy a house and a car and be married to the person of your dreams, and YOU WILL BE HAPPY!
But here I am struggling harder than ever. I did go to school, I did study hard, and I have got very little to show for it. Meanwhile, there are people making Tik Tok videos of random dances, or kids making YouTube videos of them opening boxes of toys, and they are making millions upon millions of dollars. No, I am not butthurt over this. I am not here to complain to you. Instead, I am using that energy to help myself and help all of you.
It sucks to be passed over for that promotion you were hoping to get. It sucks not to get that raise you worked so hard for all year. It sucks to be told you don’t even deserve a bonus! It’s a punch to the gut and it takes so much out of you morally, mentally, and physically.
